The series follows Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a high-school chemistry teacher diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, who decides to manufacture and sell methamphetamine to secure his family’s financial future. He partners with his former student, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), to start this illegal venture. The season explores Walter’s transformation from a mild family man to a criminal involved in the drug trade.
