The story centers around Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson), a serial killer who becomes the host of an offshoot of the Venom symbiote, known as Carnage. As Carnage, Kasady’s personality becomes increasingly unstable and violent, leading to a series of gruesome murders. Eddie, still struggling to maintain control over Venom, is tasked with interviewing Kasady in prison. However, during the interview, Kasady becomes infected with the Carnage symbiote, and the two escape from custody. As Carnage wreaks havoc on the city, Eddie and Venom must put aside their differences to stop the new villain and contain the chaos. Along the way, they encounter Shriek (Naomie Harris), a fellow symbiote host who becomes an ally and a complication in their quest. The film explores themes of power, control, and the blurred lines between good and evil.
